This prominent role provides an outstanding chance to support our sales team's Incentive Compensation program. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders to build and manage processes that encourage outstanding performance. Your role at Baxter As a Sr. Incentive Compensation Analyst, you will lead and take ownership of advanced analytical support, performance reporting, and field sales variable compensation calculations for Baxter's US sales teams. This position involves working closely with sales leaders, finance, human resources, and incentive compensation leadership to build and develop annual compensation plans, sales contest plans, and quarterly promotional plans aligned with our strategic goals.
Job Responsibility:
Partner across functions to build and develop annual commission and contest plans that encourage sales behaviors aligned with yearly objectives for the US sales forces
Conduct advanced analytics and manage databases for yearly quota allocations and monthly adjustments
Manage commission adjustments and customer alignments, calculate monthly commissions, and submit commission payouts to payroll according to the variable payroll calendar
Coordinate the preparation and publication of monthly performance reporting packages from field sales up to senior sales leadership, including data mining and dashboard creation upon request
Complete monthly calculation and reporting of sales contests, awards, and sprints
Prepare and present year-end contest trip and awards performance for sales leadership approval
Complete payment approvals and coordinate adjustments to sales data to ensure accurate commission payments aligned with Incentive Compensation policies and governance
Provide just-in-time reporting for HR, Sales, and/or Marketing related to owned sales team annual and historic sales performance reporting
Analyze and make recommendations on business issues and opportunities related to variable compensation
Requirements:
Effective leadership and project management skills
Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities
Advanced Excel abilities
Solid practical experience with Tableau, PowerPoint, and database management tools preferred
Demonstrates ownership and accountability for delivering timely and accurate results
Proficiency with Sales Performance Management (SPM) tools such as Xactly or SPIFF preferred
BA/BS required OR equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience in Finance, Commercial Operations, or related field
Incentive Compensation experience preferred
