Job Description

As a part of the product organization, the Workday HCM team is looking for an experienced and dynamic resource to provide support to existing HR technology solutions. This Senior HR Technology Support Analyst will serve in a contract role as a Workday subject matter expert, providing support to an 16-month project focusing on HR systems optimization across our landscape. This role will assess current Workday configuration across active modules and identify opportunities to improve security, streamline business processes, standardize scalable global processes, and increase automation. This role will help identify and configure new Workday features, including releases and AI capabilities. Seeking resources for Workday HCM, Security, Core/Advanced Compensation and Global Absence configuration areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the administration, functionality, maintenance and operational effectiveness of the Workday system and assist with time sensitive and complex projects
  • Conduct discovery sessions with partners to determine pain points and diagnose how Workday can provide value
  • Partner with business stakeholders and tech partners to understand requirements and translate into configurable system design
  • Implement approved enhancements to business process functionality, and security in sprint cycles
  • Confirm with all necessary stake holders that all requirements are met as well as support the implementation and business transformation of HR systems (primarily Workday), including post-production hypercare
  • Follow processes and procedures when changes to design are required, with timely status updates through management tools and preparation and management of test scripts

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related business experience
  • Configuration expertise in specific Workday modules required: HCM, Security, Absence or Core/Advanced Compensation
  • Collaborative, work as part of a team in a constructive way with demonstrated ability to build partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to think and plan in a broad, systematic way
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into creative and logical technical solutions
  • Ability to bring prior experience into projects and advise on best practice
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
  • Bachelor’s degree -STEM

Nice to have

  • Experience with and understanding of SAP HR
  • Experience using ServiceNow or JIRA service management tools
  • Experience using qTest or other testing management tool
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, integrated team environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Ability to follow tasks through to completion and keep team informed on progress
  • Strong experience working on Teams or other collaborative groups
  • Workday Pro Certification for HCM, Security, Absence or Core/Advanced Compensation
