Job Description:

Fully remote in the United States and 12+ month contract! Lead the evolution of the organization’s web analytics practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the evolution of the organization’s web analytics practice—defining the maturity roadmap, best practices, and operating model across teams
  • Audit current GA4, GTM, and Microsoft Clarity implementations
  • design and implement improved tagging strategies, event schemas, and measurement plans
  • Establish analytics governance (naming conventions, data quality controls, documentation standards) and implement ongoing monitoring to ensure reliability
  • Architect integrations across the digital ecosystem (data pipelines, BI/reporting layers, and downstream stakeholders) to enable scalable, actionable insights
  • Enable and upskill internal teams through playbooks, process documentation, and training sessions
  • serve as a consultative partner aligning analytics initiatives to business objectives

Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years in digital/web analytics with deep expertise in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and session replay tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity) in multi-site, multi-platform environments
  • Proven experience building measurement frameworks, event taxonomies, and governance programs with strong data quality and validation practices
  • Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end analytics architectures, including data capture, transformation, and reporting/visualization workflows
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultative leadership skills—able to translate business goals into measurement plans and drive consensus across teams
  • Excellent documentation, training, and communication skills
