Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GitHub Platform Engineer with strong expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Enterprise administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing GitHub environments, implementing secure development practices, and automating workflows to support scalable and efficient software delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Administer and manage GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) environments
  • Implement and maintain Git-based version control strategies
  • Configure and manage RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection policies
  • Design and develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML workflows
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Implement DevSecOps practices within development and deployment pipelines
  • Utilize GitHub Advanced Security features (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)
  • Perform audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and platform efficiency
  • Document governance standards, best practices, and developer guidelines
  • Lead technical enablement sessions and provide support to engineering teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Git-based version control administration
  • Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server)
  • Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation
  • Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
