Job Description

This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work on complex financial projects and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data-driven decision-making within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Perform variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for deviations from expected results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for ad hoc financial projects
  • Utilize data mining techniques to extract actionable insights from large datasets
  • Provide financial support and recommendations for strategic planning and decision-making
  • Leverage Oracle Fusion and Oracle Fusion tools to streamline financial processes and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all analyses and reporting

  • Support the aerospace and defense sector with tailored financial insights and analysis

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related role
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and variance analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ad hoc financial analysis and data mining techniques
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and Oracle Fusion systems
  • Solid understanding of financial principles within the aerospace and defense industry
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • advanced degree or certification is a plus

Experience with companies with government contracts is preferred
