Job Description

As a Sr. Factory Quality Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards in the development of cat and dog food product. The main responsibility is to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and specifications. This employee will serve as a backup for the formulation specialist and ingredient specialist. Quality and safety are the promises we make on every bag, container, tub, and can – and we continue to deliver on that promise.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for assuring compliance to NPPC regulatory guidelines and specifications
  • Serves as a back-up for the formulation program to meet NPPC operating standards
  • Serves as a backup for the ingredient receiving program
  • Assure plant compliance to established standards
  • Develop and deliver quality assurance related training to employees with support of the department
  • Use established procedures to perform laboratory activities to include analytical testing and sensory evaluation
  • Perform job duties with highest regard for safety

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment
