Job Description:

The Corporate Systems Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Exchange engineer. This role is responsible for supporting the use of Exchange in an hybrid environment and Office 365 tools to drive collaboration globally across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver and have a background in PowerShell scripting, proficiency with Exchange and knowledge working with Teams, SharePoint, and technologies supporting the O365 ecosystem. This role requires an individual who can work independently, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide engineering and administrative level 2+ support for (Exchange Online in a Hybrid configuration, MS 365 Services) and guidance to enhance collaboration and productivity
  • Provides troubleshooting expertise within the O365 ecosystem to ensure resolution in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automating routine tasks, such as mailbox and distribution list creation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years preferred experience in managing and supporting Exchange Online, OnPrem, Exchange hybrid environments and MS 356 services
  • Expert knowledge with Exchange Server 2016+ in an on prem hybrid configuration in conjunction with EOL across all object types
  • Experience in messaging compliance requirements including Legal Holds, E-discovery, Retention Policies, and Mailbox Archiving
  • Experience of Mail Routing
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience in security and compliance with the Microsoft 365 environment
  • Previous experience performing Data migrations
  • Knowledge of other complimentary collaboration applications such as: Quest, Poppulo, BitTitan MigrationWiz, Sendgrid / Twillio
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services
  • Knowledge in enterprise design and implementation of collaboration solutions using Microsoft 365 products and services
  • Working Knowledge of Messaging security mechanisms
  • Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL, preferably using Service Now
  • Knowledge of Project Management, preferably using, Jira, and Confluence
  • Work cross functionally with different teams to support GPC mission objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic mindset to shape the organizations email infrastructure effectively

  • Experience working in an Azure environment
  • General understanding Microsoft 365 licensing
  • MS Graph is a plus
