Job Description:

We are seeking a Roaming Network Engineer to support 24/7 operations of Vodafone’s international roaming services. The individual will monitor alarms, manage incidents, perform first-level triage, and collaborate closely with resolver teams. This role requires strong technical understanding of SS7, LTE, VoLTE, 5G and associated roaming infrastructures, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for Vodafone markets and partners

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot International Roaming services to maintain high service availability and performance
  • Apply in-depth expertise in 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE core network parameters and optimisation
  • Manage proactive and reactive incidents within agreed SLAs while ensuring a consistent customer experience
  • Identify opportunities for automation by analysing existing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Use strong analytical capabilities to diagnose network quality KPI degradation and resolve customer-impacting issues

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience working in roaming technologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Engineering Graduate with hands-on experience in SS7, SMS/SMPP, LTE and associated core network technologies
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting STP, DRA/DEA platforms and understanding of their interworking with core networks
