Job Responsibility
Lead comprehensive ergonomic assessments of field service tasks, cleanroom activities, office environments, and material handling operations
Develop and manage site level ergonomic programs, including risk assessments, trend analysis, and solution implementation
Conduct quantitative and qualitative ergonomic evaluations, including REBA, RULA, NIOSH lifting analysis, push/pull force assessments, and task based MSD risk modeling
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and tool design teams to influence design for ergonomics improvements
Develop and deliver specialized ergonomic training for field technicians, supervisors, engineers, and leadership
Support early identification and control of ergonomic hazards through routine GEMBA walks, job task observations, and employee coaching
Serve as the company's recognized technical expert for ergonomic equipment, tools, interventions, and best practices
Partner with occupational health teams on injury prevention strategies and return to work ergonomic support
Track ergonomic indicators, perform root cause analysis for MSD-related incidents, and drive corrective action implementation
Support EHS program management activities including audits, inspections, and training delivery
Assist with management and interpretation of EHS documentation (OSHA logs, leading/lagging indicators, incident reports, etc.)
Conduct or support incident investigations and risk ranking, ensuring corrective actions address both ergonomic and non-ergonomic root causes
Collaborate with customer counterparts on safety initiatives and joint hazard reduction projects
Perform routine in fab GEMBA walks and behavioral safety observations in partnership with operations
Support ISO 45001 compliance related to both ergonomics and general safety systems
Lead and influence cross functional teams to strengthen both safety and ergonomic culture across the site(s)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field
Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) designation or ability to attain within 6 months preferred
Master's degree is a plus
Minimum 5+ years of work experience in a field directly related to Environmental, Health and Safety with an emphasis on ergonomics and human factors - experience must be 100% in an EHS function
Experience performing advanced ergonomic analyses and developing sustainable ergonomic programs, preferably supporting field service, semiconductor, manufacturing, or high tech environments
Experience in EHS program support or equivalent safety function is a plus
Experience in the semiconductorindustry a plus
Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and able to create polished, professional presentation material
Experience using Intelex (EHS management software) is a plus
Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
