Job Description
Sr. Epic RTE/Prelude Application Analysts also spend time collaborating with cross-functional teams including Clinical Informatics, Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, other Epic application teams, and project managers to support efficient registration, scheduling, and patient intake workflows across the organization. Their week may include team huddles, operational meetings, project discussions, and mentoring sessions with junior analysts and team members. Throughout the day, analysts work closely with operational leaders and end-users to clarify business requirements, identify workflow pain points, and implement system optimizations that improve both patient and staff experiences. They communicate regularly with registration staff, schedulers, front desk teams, and leadership through various communication methods to support enhancement requests, issue resolution, and project initiatives. In addition, the analyst will participate in quality assurance, integrated testing, and validation of Epic RTE/Prelude enhancements, upgrades, interfaces, and newly released Epic functionality to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency. This role is also responsible for coordinating projects across Epic applications, supporting best practices, mentoring junior analysts, and developing application-specific enhancements, workflows, and reporting solutions aligned with organizational priorities and patient access initiatives.
