Our Environmental Consultants partner with companies from coast to coast, delivering ongoing programs that span compliance assessments, policy development, program design and implementation, and everything in between. As a Sr. Environmental Consultant, you will provide high-level expertise through on-site visits, remote engagements, and virtual collaboration. Your work will include conducting audits and assessments, developing and implementing customized compliance solutions, and delivering training and technical guidance tailored to each client's needs. You will serve as a strategic partner, helping clients interpret regulatory requirements, strengthen their environmental programs, and maintain ongoing compliance. Job Responsibility:
Develops, documents, and maintains curriculum and materials for general and client-specific applications
Technically-proficient specialist adept at emission calculations, data analysis, control technologies, compliance auditing, permitting, and strategic regulatory analyses
Conducts environmental audits and assessments, develops customized reports and manuals, and delivers regulatory related training
Maintains a high level of regulatory expertise. Monitors and assesses regulatory changes, communicates regulatory information to staff and clients
Proactively develops additional business within client base. Identifies and analyzes customer needs, develops concepts and proposals, schedules activities and closes contracts
Completes routine environmental reports for clients including Tier II, Toxic Release Inventory, Semiannual Deviation Reports, Annual Compliance Certifications, Emission Inventories, and Greenhouse Gas Reports
Identifies and develops additional service offerings
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental or a Science related field
In lieu of bachelor's degree, will consider an additional 3 years of environmental regulatory experience
8+ years experience as a environmental practitioner in a consulting and or corporate environment
Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates and client representatives at all levels
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Understanding of sales, marketing and business finance concepts/applications
Knowledge of EHS to include environmental compliance at both a national and state level
Self-starter with strong cognitive problem-solving abilities
Motivated goal-oriented individual with excellent organization, planning & implementation, time-management, and quality control skills
Nice to have:
4+ years complex sales / business development experience desirable
