Job Responsibility
Independently develop a full software stack
Contributed to designs to implement new insights to improve upon existing systems
Build data persistence solutions for software products, with the chance to work with, learn multiple data stores, and cloud platforms such as AWS, AZURE and Snowflake
Public (AWS, Azure, GCP) analysis of actuals to budget /forecast, analyze key areas of waste and optimization, utilization rates, etc
Extract and analyze large scale data within cloud billing and usage, to support management and financial partners indecision making
Identification, implementation, and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPls)
Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications
Develop support documentation for acceptance of systems changes into production
Participate in code reviews and walkthroughs of technical specifications with other members of the technical team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer and Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of relevant work experience
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer and Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience
Building real-time and large-scale data solutions using Python, and Snowflake features like Snowpipe, and Cloning to enable robust data transformation pipelines, resulting in a 25% improvement in pipeline efficiency
Migrating and optimizing data infrastructure by transforming large datasets from traditional RDBMS (Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle) to Snowflake and Databricks on Azure
Building efficient ETL and data transformation workflows to automate reporting pipelines, boosting pipeline throughput and reducing manual intervention using Snowflake, Azure, Python and Control-M tools
Leveraging cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Snowflake to architect high performance, cloud-native data systems with capabilities like Time Travel, Fail-safe, and zero-copy cloning, ensuring compliance, data recovery, and system reliability
Collaborating with global teams across offshore and onshore environments for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization, while also conducting in-depth root cause analysis to identify business opportunities and enhance data-driven decision-making by creating audit checks using Snowflake and Python to ensure the issues are caught at the initial phase
Applying DevOps and scheduling tools: Control-M, GitHub, UC4, and Crontab for CI/CD pipeline automation, workload orchestration, and performance monitoring in multi-cloud data engineering environments
