Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements associated with Building Maintenance, the electrical system, HVAC systems, and clean room operations. Additionally, the role includes supervising and managing the facility’s Cogeneration System, ensuring its reliable and efficient performance. The individual will also lead the site’s Lean Energy Program, driving initiatives to optimize energy use, reduce operational costs, and support sustainability objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements associated with Building Maintenance, the electrical system, HVAC systems, and clean room operations
  • Supervise and manage the facility’s Cogeneration System
  • Lead the site’s Lean Energy Program
  • Reviews and approves all documentation generated and verifies the accomplishment of them to the company policies
  • Executes projects, protocols, presentations and other assigned duties related to the area
  • Reviews changes in specifications (Certification Document Reviews-CDRs) and compliance with local SOP’s
  • Conducts investigations looking for root causes of non-conformances
  • Generate change controls and CAPA events
  • Fill out department reports such as calibration, study documents, particles, etc
  • Assists the supervisor in looking for improvements to optimize workload, efficiency, coordination and compliance to specifications and gap assessments
  • Coordinates department tasks according with plant needs and department efficiency
  • Assists and maintains calibration standards and update other equipment to keep an efficient operation work area
  • Provide technical support to all activities of senior technicians, technicians and technologist
  • Promote a zero-harm workplace
  • Observe data privacy and confidentiality rules at all times
  • Will assist the supervisor in calibration, environmental, utilities and sterilization documentation review and approval
  • Coordinates work with contractors in order to perform maintenance to critical utilities system
  • Assist the Critical System Engineer in performing all activities related to calibrations, environmental tests, sterilization studies and critical systems compliance with legal, regulatory standards and the operation of the Utilities area
  • Constant interaction with plant superintendents, facilities engineer and production areas supervisors due to maintenance services planning and building corrections
  • Manage the Lean Energy program and the ISO50001 program of the facilities

Requirements

  • B.S degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • One to three years of experience in facilities/utilities maintenance
  • Ability to speak and present information effectively before plant groups meetings
  • Knowledge in how to read and interpret mechanical drawings and P&IDs
  • Experience with thermal systems and high‑voltage electrical infrastructure is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage for candidates
  • Fluently in English and Spanish languages
