Job Description

Senior Distribution Manager Salary: $100,000-$120,000 base + bonus Type: Full-Time | Exempt The Senior Distribution Manager oversees all distribution center operations and leads warehouse personnel to ensure safety, accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory goals are met. This role drives daily execution, performance metrics, and continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage daily distribution center operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and staffing
  • Plan labor, schedules, workloads, and overtime to meet operational demands
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff
  • enforce SOPs and safety standards
  • Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Communicate operational issues and performance updates to leadership
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Serve as on-call support for emergency situations

Requirements

  • 10+ years of warehouse/distribution experience
  • 10+ years of people management experience
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse KPIs, safety standards, and WMS platforms
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
