This role will lead the Data Product Management team which will evolve to be the end-state Data and Reporting COE and is responsible for product management (defining the what and why) for foundational data, business, and reporting products and is critical to the success of the Finance, Supply Chain and Billing Domains. There are four main areas of responsibility for this role: Billing Business Data, Intelligence and Reporting; ERP+ Business Data; Finance Business Data and Reporting; Procurement & Supply Chain Business Data and Reporting; Foundational Data Products.
Job Responsibility:
Sustain the existing data and reporting insights delivered to Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain by stabilizing newly transferred resources and organizing them into high performing teams
Implement leading product management practices and upskill resources to focus on quantifying value, prioritizing, road mapping, and delivering trusted insights to support T-Mobile growth
Set the strategy and organize resources to implement data governance over foundational data including data domain and subdomain architecture, business ownership of domains and foundational products
Capture data product requirements related to tech implementations and manage agile development squads to deliver those requirements and incorporate requirements of reporting products (i.e. dimensions and attributes) to enable reporting and cross domain insights (a connection across data areas) developed by the Reporting Products Team
Influence cross-functional alignment to drive strategic objectives that achieve intended integration outcomes and synergy achievement. Support structural and cross functional initiatives to ensure resources are prioritized appropriately
Work with service implementors to determine where foundational data areas will be governed (i.e. within the tech or in the MDM tool), outline needed integrations, develop change management workflow and maintenance processes over data products
Collaborate with the Architectural Review Board (the “ARB”) to design the governance architecture and help stand up and lead the Data & Analytics Review Council (the “DARC”) to help guide the build of the data foundation and governance model
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10-12+ years of experience in leading strategy, innovation, and architecting data projects and products
10+ years of experience in a technical field, AI, Data Science, and analytics
7-10 years of proven experience in a leadership role in data engineering and architecture, focusing on end-to-end data product strategy or in a critical finance, procurement and supply chain leadership role
7-10 years of advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and technology platforms
Demonstrated experience driving enterprise data, analytics, and insights solutions and other technologies
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in both business and technology to anticipate, interpret and challenge thinking when appropriate to align organizational goals and resources
Champion and communicate information and AI product value and other key performance indicators to stakeholders
Build, manage, mentor, and inspire team(s)

Budget, make case for, and manage funding distribution in line with priorities
