Job Description

As we continue to experience rapid growth the demands on the Business Development team is growing too. This growth has created an opportunity for a Sr. Director, Business Development to join the team and support a variety of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate may not have worked on a formal business development team before, but does work at an agency or consulting firm, knows there’s people who pitch the business the firm works on, and believes being one of those people could be the next chapter in their career. The Sr. Business Development Director will have a proven track record of generating and driving B2C experience and B2B experience transformation with Fortune 100 companies, leveraging the stacks and platforms powering personalized, intuitive CX.

Job Responsibility

  • Qualify inbound new business opportunities and prioritize pursuits
  • Lead our contribution to RFP responses and participation in pitches
  • Develop a highly targeted vertical industry pursuit strategy
  • Participate in new business strategy decision making and planning
  • Create capabilities and pitch presentations
  • Manage written proposal submissions
  • Manage the proposal process
  • Define the structure, scope, duration, and staffing of projects
  • Work across the full spectrum of creative agency services, but with a focus on CX/UX/Product Design opportunities

Requirements

  • 7-10 years agency or consulting firm experience, likely in a business development, account management, or project management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong editorial and proofreading skills
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and Apple Keynote, required
  • Strong PPT skills preferred

Mid-level design abilities appreciated, but not required
