As a Data Solution Engineer (SE), you are the technical expert responsible for engaging with customers to design, validate, and deliver data platform and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure and Fabric. You work closely with account teams and specialists to influence technical decisions and drive business outcomes through hands-on engagements. You act as a trusted technical advisor to customers—connecting deep technical expertise with business value and enabling customers to modernize their data estate and innovate with AI

Job Responsibility

  • Build strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders
  • Understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements
  • Provide guidance on modern data platform strategies and best practices
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures using Azure Data Services
  • Lead architecture discussions and whiteboarding sessions
  • Align solutions to customer business outcomes and cloud best practices
  • Deliver Proof of Concepts, pilots, technical demos and prototypes, Architecture Design Sessions
  • Validate solution feasibility and demonstrate value in real-world scenarios
  • Influence and support customers in making technical decisions in favor of Azure

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of strong experience in data and analytics technologies, such as: SQL, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
  • Customer-facing experience (pre-sales, consulting, or architecture roles)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, or Databricks or similar products
  • Data governance, security, and compliance
  • AI and advanced analytics workloads
