Job Description:

As a part of Infusion Therapies & Technologies division, the Lab Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating R&D lab operations, purchasing and managing lab supplies, handling shipping and receiving of testing materials, scheduling equipment calibration and maintenance, and assisting with general lab activities to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Order, track, and maintain stock of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and testing materials
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and purchases
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of test materials and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations
  • Process purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely procurement of lab supplies
  • Schedule and coordinate calibration, servicing, and maintenance of lab equipment, including instruments, and other devices, to ensure operational efficiency
  • Perform routine operational checks on pumps and other laboratory equipment and coordinate necessary troubleshooting or repairs
  • Support special projects and other administrative tasks assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or professional certification preferred
  • 5+ years experience in an administrative role, preferably in a laboratory or healthcare setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and identify proactive solutions to complex situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with inventory management and procurement processes preferred
