Job Description

The Sr. Data Analyst will be responsible for understanding complex business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for our technical teams. This role involves end-to-end data management - from database interrogation to the delivery of actionable insights via advanced visualization tools.

Job Responsibility

  • Requirement Engineering: Translate business needs into clear, functional specifications for technical teams
  • Data Interrogation: Use SQL to extract and analyse data from databases to provide deep-dive insights
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to support executive decision-making
  • Data Quality & Monitoring: Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and monitoring data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver data-driven recommendations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least minimum Power BI skills
  • Proven ability to monitor data and provide actionable insights that support business growth
  • Skilled in drafting functional specifications for technical developers
  • Previous experience in a high-growth environment similar to the MPP reporting ecosystem
