Sr. Cost Accountant

• Evaluate inventory components to identify those with tariff implications
• Reconcile inventory data and resolve discrepancies through detailed analysis
• Adjust inventory costs in Excel and ensure accurate manual updates are applied
• Collaborate with the Controller to implement necessary changes within the system
• Review raw materials and manufactured goods inventory to assess and update cost adjustments
• Utilize established queries to access relevant inventory information efficiently
• Work within time-sensitive constraints to ensure inventory numbers remain accurate
• Perform detailed assessments of approximately 600 raw materials and 1000 manufactured goods SKUs
• Generate accurate reports to support inventory and cost accounting processes

• Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably with inventory-related projects
• Familiarity with tariff implications in inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a flexible schedule
• Experience with manual cost adjustments and reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of inventory systems and data analysis tools is a plus
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
