Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Corporate Controller to join their client's growing team. This person should have a minimum of 10 years experience in a Controller or Financial Manager role and be comfortable stepping in to lead the enterprises financial operations. The right person should have an indistry background in Telecom, Construction, Utilities, Oil and Gas, or manufacturing and have a strong understanding of the cost accounting practices associated.

Job Responsibility

  • Overseeing general ledger and month end close responsibilities
  • Managing a group of team members responsible for other pieces of the cash flow operations and general financial organization
  • Mentoring others

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting or Finance with a related bachelors degree
  • Experience leading all accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, job cost accounting, and month-end close for multi-project telecom construction environments
  • Ability to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
  • maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting
  • Demonstrated experience managing project cost tracking and WIP schedules, providing timely analysis of job profitability and variance reporting
  • Experience overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with operations and project managers to align financial plans with construction timelines
  • Experience mentoring and developing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
