Job Responsibility:
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls
while also providing support on special requests when required
Assist in coordinating and preparing for quarterly reviews and testing with external auditors
Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in general accounting or finance roles
Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet strict reporting deadlines
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively through written and verbal channels
Nice to have:
CPA credentials or progress towards a CPA license
Big4 or Large Regional Firm experience
Experience with commercial property management accounting and client financial reporting
