Job Description

As Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator, you’ll oversee the execution and compliance of the factory’s Quality Management Systems including but not limited to, the factory’s internal audit program, document control program, product release, specification updates, and the overall compliance with all internal and external Quality requirements. Make an impact on the lives of people and pets nationwide as you ensure quality throughout our processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Promote quality awareness and serve as an ambassador of Food Safety and Quality compliance throughout the facility and with customers/vendors/contractors
  • Execute compliance programs to ensure all regulatory and quality assurance requirements are met
  • Organize and maintain the facilities’ corrective action program
  • Facilitate factory internal audits
  • Manage and update factory document control/change control systems
  • Ensure all changes are made regarding specification and policy updates

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Quality Management Systems and internal auditing

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, or comparable degree
  • Experience working in a Food manufacturing facility
