Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned Sr. Commercial Lender to join a well-established, community-focused regional banking institution. In this senior role, you'll own the full lending lifecycle — origination, underwriting, and closing — while building new business and deepening client relationships.

Job Responsibility

  • Originate, underwrite, and close commercial loans in compliance with Credit Policy
  • Manage and monitor an active loan portfolio with annual credit reviews and risk ratings
  • Drive new business through a proactive calling plan and COI relationships
  • Cross-sell financial solutions to new and existing clients
  • Represent the firm at community events, Chamber meetings, and business development programs
  • Collaborate with credit administration on loan presentations and problem credit resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting
  • 2+ years of commercial lending experience
  • Proven business development and client relationship skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational abilities
  • 25% travel availability outside a 50-mile radius
