This role is essential for aligning sales compensation with business strategy to drive desired sales behaviors and outcomes. This role manages the design and implementation of compensation plans, sales performance incentives, and channel sales programs. It differentiates by integrating cross-functional collaboration with leadership, operations, finance, and human resources to ensure cohesive execution. Success is measured by effective compensation plan adoption, operational excellence, and alignment with strategic business goals. The work impacts organizational performance by enabling clear communication and execution of sales initiatives across field and headquarters teams.
Job Responsibility:
Develop analytics-driven sales compensation recommendations to support business initiatives and align sales behaviors with strategy
Partner with functional groups to identify field challenges and develop national solutions and tactics
Translate business strategy into actionable tactics and provide clear explanations to field employees
Create training materials and communication tools to support change management and prepare field teams for program launches
Collaborate with technical partners to ensure systematic execution and assist with system design as needed
Present strategic insights and influence senior leadership to achieve business objectives
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
7+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy, and/or program management. Tech industry preferred. (Preferred)
Retail/wireless sales/service experience a plus (Preferred)
Data Analysis Proven ability to analyze data from existing systems and multiple sources, consolidate results, create a comprehensive picture, and make/present informed recommendations (Required)
Compensation Extensive knowledge of compensation plan & incentive design (Required)
Negotiation Excellent influencing and negotiation skills (Required)
Project Management Strong project management, analysis, and execution skills -- resulting in track record of successful achievements. (Required)
