Reporting to the Senior Manager of TFB Revenue Analytics, the Senior Business Strategist is responsible for identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth across the T-Mobile for Business base. This role leads complex, driver-based analysis across TFB products and segments, supports weekly variance reporting against the TFB revenue forecast, and develops insights and business cases for new revenue growth opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Lead strategic projects to analyze business challenges and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders
Develop financial and market models to support decision-making and evaluate growth opportunities
Synthesize complex data into clear, concise presentations for executive audiences
Identify and communicate market and competitor trends to inform organizational strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive business initiatives
Coordinate preparation activities for key organizational events such as earnings calls and board meetings
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience
Acceptable areas of study include Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or related field
7-10 years Management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or other related experience requiring quantitative analysis and executive presentation skills
4-7 years Strategy and Problem Solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations
4-7 years Financial modeling and Analytics. Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analyzing complex data
Strategy Proactive problem solver who can break ambiguous problems into pieces using a hypothesis-driven approach. Ability to frame problems, use strategic frameworks, develop strategies
Business Acumen Business Model: Knowledge and understanding of business models, pricing strategies, channel management. Analytical and data-driven, comfortable triangulating data to estimate market sizes and build financial models
Financial Analysis Ability to build financial models and develop qualitative analysis, perform sensitivity analysis. Comfortable reading and understanding implications of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements
Communication Ability to synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual, and verbal communications. Ability to articulate rationale and present in front of senior leaders. Effective communicator who knows how to bring structure and clarity to situations where direction is limited
