Job Description

Anaconda is seeking a talented Senior Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and prioritize inbound leads to ensure timely and effective follow-up
  • Work with the sales team to develop and lead targeted outbound campaigns from idea generation through to qualified calls
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Proactively organize and maintain the sales pipeline, keeping detailed records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase the conversion rate of meetings to opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices
  • Use AI tools to identify and prioritize buying signals across target accounts, including data role hiring patterns, GitHub activity, tech stack shifts, and funding events
  • Build AI-assisted account research briefs prior to first contact, synthesizing a prospect's AI strategy, current tooling, and likely pain points to inform outreach and discovery
  • Leverage AI to map personas within target accounts (data scientists, ML engineers, IT/security, procurement) and develop role-tailored messaging for each stakeholder
