We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to contribute to vital billing operations while advancing your career. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing and maintaining efficient communication with various departments.
Job Responsibility:
Process and input data from branch paperwork for billing purposes with precision and attention to detail
Provide constructive feedback to branches regarding the accuracy and timeliness of submitted paperwork
Perform daily reviews and updates of billing work queues to keep operations running smoothly
Analyze billing reports to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with the Billing Manager and team members to maintain effective communication and workflow
Support departmental projects, including updates to customer pricing and sales personnel information
Communicate with accounts receivable, credit/collections, and branch staff to address billing inquiries
Ensure invoices accurately reflect pricing, customer details, tax information, equipment specifications, and billing periods
Meet strict deadlines for end-of-month billing and other department activities
Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the billing department's overall success
Requirements:
A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing or a medical front office role is preferred
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in data entry, customer service, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage a high volume of paperwork while adhering to deadlines and handling interruptions
Familiarity with pricing and contracting related to healthcare equipment rentals or sales is advantageous
Experience with Enfinity billing systems is a plus but not mandatory
Proficiency in billing functions, accounts receivable, and financial tools such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective communication across departments
Five or more years of relevant experience in billing-related roles
Nice to have:
Familiarity with pricing and contracting related to healthcare equipment rentals or sales
Experience with Enfinity billing systems
