Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to contribute to vital billing operations while advancing your career. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing and maintaining efficient communication with various departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process and input data from branch paperwork for billing purposes with precision and attention to detail
  • Provide constructive feedback to branches regarding the accuracy and timeliness of submitted paperwork
  • Perform daily reviews and updates of billing work queues to keep operations running smoothly
  • Analyze billing reports to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the Billing Manager and team members to maintain effective communication and workflow
  • Support departmental projects, including updates to customer pricing and sales personnel information
  • Communicate with accounts receivable, credit/collections, and branch staff to address billing inquiries
  • Ensure invoices accurately reflect pricing, customer details, tax information, equipment specifications, and billing periods
  • Meet strict deadlines for end-of-month billing and other department activities
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the billing department's overall success

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing or a medical front office role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in data entry, customer service, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage a high volume of paperwork while adhering to deadlines and handling interruptions
  • Familiarity with pricing and contracting related to healthcare equipment rentals or sales is advantageous
  • Experience with Enfinity billing systems is a plus but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in billing functions, accounts receivable, and financial tools such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective communication across departments
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in billing-related roles

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with pricing and contracting related to healthcare equipment rentals or sales
  • Experience with Enfinity billing systems
