Job Description

In this vital role, you will support outbound warehouse operations responsible for the distribution and shipment of finished goods while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Reporting to the Outbound Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in daily warehouse execution, system transactions, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination supporting the Amgen Ohio (AOH) site.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute outbound warehouse operations in compliance with GMP/GDP and EHSS requirements
  • Support daily outbound activities including order fulfillment, shipping coordination, inventory transfers, staging, and shipment processing
  • Perform and support SAP warehouse transactions and ensure data accuracy within warehouse systems
  • Monitor outbound workflows to ensure on-time shipment execution and operational readiness
  • Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation activities, and material movements
  • Identify and escalate operational issues while supporting timely resolution
  • Participate in investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, SOP revisions, and risk assessments as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Packaging, Quality Assurance, Planning, and Logistics teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using standard operational excellence tools and methodologies
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs and support reporting activities
  • Assist with training activities and ensure compliance with required training curricula
  • Support implementation of new warehouse processes, systems, and procedures
  • Maintain inspection readiness and support internal and external audits
  • Contribute to a safe, compliant, and inclusive work environment
  • Support non-standard shift coverage and maintain flexibility to work extended hours as needed

Requirements

High school/GED + 4 years of Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, or Operations experience OR Associate's + 2 years of Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, or Operations experience OR Bachelor's + 6 months of Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, or Operations experience OR Master's degree

Nice to have

  • Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in warehouse operations, shipping, distribution, or inventory management
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC, WM, and/or EWM systems
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as cGMP/GDP operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Experience supporting cross-functional operational activities
  • Knowledge of EHSS and compliance requirements within warehouse operations
