The Global Customer Capabilities & Innovation organization strives to bring new ways of working to better support our patients and customers. The Device Strategy team's purpose is to empower patients with a simple, seamless injection experience. This position will achieve this purpose through development and enhancement of patient & HCP-focused educational materials for Amgen's drug delivery devices throughout the product lifecycle. The Senior Associate will manage the development of educational materials across various brands and devices. This role will partner with other GDS team members to deliver educational messages to the right stakeholders in the right medium across key moments that matter. The successful candidate will lead several initiatives to enhance the injection experience that will positively impact patients, their healthcare teams, and Amgen brands.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate with GDS team members and agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and video assets
  • Manage material changes due to product label updates and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prep materials for MAC Review in Veeva
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within scope
  • Manage key projects with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Generate and maintain a monthly metrics dashboard with insights on key areas of focus for the device(s)

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree and 1 year of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
  • Master’s degree and 3 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
  • Strong marketing acumen with an understanding of marketing strategy, market research, and tactical plan development
  • Experience working with advertising agencies to develop and produce engaging creative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience marketing directly to consumers, with a preference for pharmaceutical or regulated consumer goods or services
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Smartsheet)
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time-management skills
  • Strong bias for action and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build positive relationships across diverse teams

Nice to have:

  • Experience with drug delivery devices, such as: pre-filled syringes, auto-injector pens, lyophilized reconstitution kits, and/or infusion pumps
