Job Responsibility

  • Review and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts
  • Drafting, implementation, and updating of contract templates in accordance with corporate guidelines
  • Support in training internal teams on contractual matters and legal processes
  • Assistance with the review, preparation, and coordination of regulatory documents and filings, corporate matters, and audits, as required
  • There may be opportunities to participate in additional legal projects for other Amgen affiliates in Latin America, in collaboration with the legal leaders of those affiliates, depending on business needs, experience, and workload

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field and 2 years of experience in similar positions on a big pharmaceutical company
  • Proficiency in English, both in oral and written communication
  • Active professional license to practice law in Mexico (preferred)
  • More than four years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or a combination of both (preferred)
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as solid knowledge of commercial, labor, and litigation law in Mexico (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented approach (preferred)
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities (preferred)
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and objectivity (preferred)

Nice to have

  • Active professional license to practice law in Mexico
