Sr Associate Counsel

• Provides legal advice and recommendations to executives and management regarding matters of complexity
• Evaluates potential legal issues related to business practices and policies
• Evaluates the impact of new laws and regulations on our business practices
• Combines a knowledge of one or more legal specialties with sound business acumen
• Conducts detailed research regarding legal principles and precedents and consults with outside counsel
• Leverages an in-depth knowledge of 1934 Act reporting and 1933 Act registered and exempt offerings, as well as SEC reporting and compliance to provide advice
• Operates under general direction from legal team management

• Juris doctor from an ABA-accredited school of law
• Seven years of legal experience in a combination of law firm and corporate settings
• Excellent legal research skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent legal and business judgment
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate projects and cases
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
• Ability to provide business-oriented legal advice
