Sr. Associate Cafe Events + Experience Strategist| Retail Bank. Retail Marketing In-Café Event and Experience Team is responsible for the strategy, execution, and support for events and experiences across the Café network. This Senior Associate role is pivotal in supporting strategies, events and customer experiences within our Cafés. This role requires a talented individual that has the ability to work in a fast paced, start-up style environment and deliver results that will impact the future of our Bank, while also traveling frequently to various events and experiences within our Café network. The Retail Marketing Event and Experiences strategist will be pivotal in supporting engagements for our customers in multiple markets, shaping the strategy of our broader network.
Job Responsibility:
Be part of the team that leads marketing for in person experiences and how those experiences play an important role in the way customers perceive the Capital One as a brand
Understand the importance of supporting events and experiences that directly relate to and support business objectives and priorities
Support the strategy and experiences led by in-Café events and experiences teammates, including the Food & Beverage program in Cafés across the nation and the Money & Life Program
Lead smaller scale local and national projects related to and supporting in-Café experiences
Act as a main point of contact with stakeholders across the organization to bring product/project intent to life, supporting larger strategic intent
Work cohesively with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership
Drive projects based on defined priorities
ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met
identify risks and issues and mitigate and/or escalate as needed to manager and project led
Leverage problem solving skills to ensure campaigns and project plans deliver on intent and help maintain key project documentation
Act as a main point of contact for Café events for key home office and frontline partners, including disseminating strategy and support of the Front-Line teams through on-site execution/oversight of events, post-event follow up
Build event strategies and campaign plans around business objectives and key partnerships
Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
Efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources across multiple projects
Consistently managing leadership expectations, schedules, budgets, assets and scopes—organization and attention to detail is essential
Stay current on event and experience trends and techniques, implementing processes for including these into best practices within the department
Must be able to travel up to 30-50% of working time, and to attend regional and national meetings and events and be on site to oversee the execution of the activations. This travel may include nights, weekends and extended hours.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience with event management or marketing strategy
