Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain AEM front-end components, templates, dialogs, and workflows to deliver engaging and responsive web experiences
  • Design and implement user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for AEM-powered websites and applications, ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility standards
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AEM-specific frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into functional AEM components
  • Work with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality
  • Implement integrations with third-party systems and APIs to enhance site capabilities
  • Participate in technical discussions with team leads, gathering requirements and proposing front-end solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including designers, backend developers, and architects—to deliver high-quality, scalable AEM solutions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree
  • OR Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience on AEM development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe AEM Sites front-end development, including components, templates, and HTL
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with AEM frameworks such as Sling models and client libraries and how they work in coordination with AEM backend
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and backend developers in a cross-functional environment
  • Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization and accessibility standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the AEM front-end stack
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose scalable front-end solutions

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of storybook is a plus
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js integrated into AEM
  • Exposure to SPA Editor and headless AEM implementations
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, etc.) for personalization and analytics
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployment strategies
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and advanced caching strategies for front-end performance
  • Adobe AEM certification is a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills to bridge technical and design teams
