Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Art Director to lead the creative transformation of a historic chapel into an engaging Welcome Center in San Francisco, California. In this contract role, you will play a pivotal part in designing a space that embodies the institution’s values and history while delivering a cohesive and immersive experience for visitors. This position requires a strong ability to blend visual storytelling with spatial design.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute a creative vision for the Welcome Center, focusing on layout, color schemes, and thematic storytelling
  • Collaborate closely with designers, producers, and creative directors to ensure the design aligns with the brand identity
  • Oversee the creation and placement of visual elements, including historical exhibits, sports highlights, and large-scale photography
  • Manage the integration of design elements to create a welcoming and immersive environment for families and visitors
  • Ensure the project meets aesthetic and functional standards through consistent communication and leadership
  • Provide art direction for physical installations, ensuring they align with the overall creative concept
  • Lead the production team in achieving a seamless design experience for the space

Requirements:
