The Senior Architectural Project Integrator provides planning, design, and construction support for commercial, institutional, and government facility projects. This position supports multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of project execution, including planning, design coordination, construction administration, and project closeout activities. The role requires strong technical knowledge of building systems, workspace planning, facility design standards, and construction practices, particularly within secure government environments.
Job Responsibility
Support planning, design, and construction activities for commercial and government facility projects
Coordinate with architects, engineers, construction teams, and stakeholders throughout project development and execution
Assist with development and review of construction documents, design packages, and project deliverables
Support facility planning efforts, workspace utilization studies, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Monitor project progress and assist with construction coordination activities
Utilize AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications to support project documentation, reporting, and design coordination
Ensure project activities comply with applicable government, safety, and security requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Master Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience supporting commercial, institutional, or government planning, design, and construction projects
Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and supporting projects through various phases of design and construction
Proficiency in current versions of industry-standard design and project management software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of: Building systems, Workspace planning, Facility design standards, Construction coordination, Commercial and government facility design and construction practices
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
Nice to have
Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Planning, or a related discipline preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) or other sustainable design certification preferred
Training or coursework related to federal facility standards, secure facility design, or government construction management preferred
Experience with federal planning and design standards, including familiarity with ICD/ICS, UFC, GSA, or FBI facility requirements, preferred
Certification or advanced training in construction administration, facility planning, or space management is desirable
