Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Market Intelligence drives data-informed growth decisions by analyzing trends, delivering high-impact insights, and supporting key market planning tools and strategies. This role offers strong visibility across the Development organization and the opportunity to present to senior leaders on development success criteria, sales forecasting, and other strategic topics. Reporting to the Market Planning Director, this individual will operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy while partnering across teams to advance critical growth initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead complex, high-impact insights projects with a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and accountability, working independently while navigating ambiguity and driving work forward with confidence
  • Conduct data analysis using statistical and analytical tools (Excel, Alteryx, MicroStrategy) to extract actionable insights from large datasets and translate findings into meaningful trends, benchmarks, and recommendations that support new restaurant development
  • Support updates and ongoing maintenance of the Market Plan, applying advanced technical capabilities to ensure tools, outputs, and recommendations remain accurate, relevant, and actionable
  • Build expertise in Taco Bell development technology systems and maintain analytical tools, tracking systems, and frameworks that support sales forecasting, mass mobile data impact projections, and new restaurant growth
  • Partner directly with external vendors and internal stakeholders to execute complex initiatives, manage deliverables, and solve problems with a strategic, forward-thinking approach
  • Provide thought partnership and support on ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed, with increasing responsibility for influencing decisions and driving execution on key development priorities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of development, real estate, strategy, or finance experience with demonstrated organizational impact, team leadership and increasing responsibility in related areas
  • BA required
  • analytical degree preferred (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Engineering)
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Resourceful nature, with strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills is a must
  • Experience with CRM, Power BI, Alteryx and Smartsheet (or other project management tools) a plus
