The Sr. Inventory and Process Analyst’s primary focus is to understand and anticipate variances and issues related to the intricacies of paste processing operations and the production lines within the plant. This role also supports key financial responsibilities, including fixed asset management, physical inventory counts, reconciliations, monthly reporting, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of data and will work independently while supporting key teams throughout the plant. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to deliver accurate analysis under tight deadlines, and the capability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and analyze inventory processes for Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Storeroom
Complete weekly/monthly raw material cycle counts and analyze them
Support physical counts of WIP and finished goods
Perform monthly rework inventory counts and reconcile SAP & AFO rework data
Reconcile Bill of Ladings to S4 and verify all documentation is accurate
Monitor, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies, including GR/IR issues
Work with QA and Logistics to prepare debit memos for defective packaging
Perform sample request movements to properly charge West Hershey products
Help serve as an S4 site leader for West Hershey and partner with Accenture and IT to document, research, and resolve system issues
Troubleshoot S4 access, system limitations, and COGI errors
Support plant personnel when S4 issues arise and provide guidance on proper system use
Support the plant accounting leadership in ensuring accurate use of S4 and AFO for production reporting
Analyze anomalies, variances, downtime drivers, and other performance shortfalls
Compile rework, waste, overweight, and line-level performance data
Issue performance reports and partner with Manufacturing and Plant Management to address root causes
