This role supports employees and enterprise stakeholders by managing HR data and employee lifecycle programs to ensure data accessibility, integrity, and compliance across Workday HCM and related systems. The Sr Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in HR data administration, providing technical expertise, lifecycle governance, system support, and international data oversight across hire-to-termination processes.
Job Responsibility:
Administer and govern HR data within Workday HCM, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment across the full employee lifecycle
Support domestic and international employee data management, ensuring compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, and global data governance standards
Load and validate mass data files (EIBs and other bulk data uploads), including support for enterprise reorganizations, international updates, and workforce structural changes
Support M&A activities through data mapping, validation, employee data migration, system alignment, and post-integration data audits
Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business leaders to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance across global operations
Provide technical HR system support and resolve complex end-user inquiries across Workday HCM and related platforms
Advocate for data quality, governance standards, and reporting accuracy to enable informed business decision-making
Represent HR data and lifecycle processes in enterprise initiatives such as compensation reviews, reorganizations, international expansions, and workforce planning activities
Support compensation-related data processes and provide insight into compensation structures as needed
Serve as a subject matter expert on projects by evaluating configurations, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), validating data outcomes, and recommending improvements
Participate in HR technology enhancements, system updates, and continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor team members and stakeholders on Workday data processes, lifecycle governance, and system functionality
Demonstrate the ability to operate autonomously, ramp quickly, and learn new tools, processes, and technologies independently
Maintain employee records in accordance with regulatory, international, policy, and audit requirements
Contribute to process documentation, knowledge sharing, and best practice development
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
Strong Workday HCM experience, including implementation and ongoing data management
Experience managing HR data across the full employee lifecycle
Experience loading large data files within Workday (EIBs and mass data processing)
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have:
4–7 years of experience in HR data management and HRIS systems
Experience supporting enterprise reorganizations and workforce structural updates
Experience supporting M&A HR data integration efforts
Experience managing or supporting international HR data and compliance requirements
Exposure to severance processes and offboarding compliance
Experience with Workday ATS
HR technology/system support experience
Experience leading or participating in process improvement initiatives
Compensation knowledge and understanding of compensation structures
