Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented SR. Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, and supporting reporting needs across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, is process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports
  • Assist with audits and respond to auditor requests
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Support process improvements and accounting best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Nice to have

  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA-track a plus
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, healthcare, construction, or services
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
