Job Responsibility:
Manage month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activities, maintaining precision and compliance with accounting standards
Prepare and post journal entries to support financial transactions
Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements
Utilize the AS400 system effectively to support accounting operations
Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
Provide insights and support to management for decision-making purposes
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and organizational financial policies
Monitor and address issues within accounts payable and collections as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting
Strong proficiency in managing general ledger activities
Ability to prepare and analyze journal entries with accuracy
Experience in performing account and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with the AS400 system is required
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
