Job Description

The salary range for this position is $30 to $43/hour, plus bonus. Benefits are available including medical, vision, and dental, and life and disability insurance. Job Responsibility

  • Perform detailed reconciliations across bank accounts, cash activity, and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Lead core month-end close tasks, including preparing journal entries, reviewing account activity, and supporting the production of reliable financial results
  • Work closely with an external accounting or tax firm to provide documentation, respond to questions, and help facilitate completion of required tax filings
  • Analyze general ledger balances and investigate variances to strengthen financial controls and improve reporting accuracy
  • Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for key accounts, ensuring documentation is organized and audit-ready
  • Assist with income tax-related processes by gathering financial data, validating records, and supporting compliance and audit requests as needed
  • Use Excel and QuickBooks to manage financial data, track reconciliation items, and produce clear supporting analysis for leadership or external partners

Requirements

  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including senior-level responsibility for general ledger and close activities
  • Demonstrated expertise in account, bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Hands-on experience managing month-end close in a deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with annual tax support, income tax preparation, compliance, and audit coordination
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex financial data and reconciliations
  • Experience using QuickBooks for accounting operations and financial record management
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
