We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage a wide range of financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, analysis, and compliance. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and organized financial records for business and/or personal accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash‑flow projections
Analyze income and expenditures to identify trends and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
Prepare, support, and/or file tax returns and related documentation
Identify eligible deductions, credits, and opportunities to minimize tax liability
Maintain knowledge of GAAP and evolving accounting standards
Provide leadership with regular financial insights to support decision‑making
Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
Assist in managing investments or financial assets as applicable
Collaborate with banking partners, auditors, tax professionals, and financial advisors
Support estate, trust, or financial planning activities if applicable
Manage financial documentation related to insurance, loans, or other obligations
Coordinate charitable giving or philanthropic contributions (if relevant)
Requirements:
5–7 years of professional accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA preferred
Advanced understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups
formatting skills)
Experience with SQL and reporting tools preferred
Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced or dynamic environment
High degree of confidentiality, reliability, and integrity
