Job Description

This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and managing fixed assets. Additional duties include reconciling bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts, supporting month-end close and audits, and contributing to analysis and process improvements. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can independently identify and resolve general ledger issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare journal entries, including expense accruals and prepaid expenses
  • Manage intercompany transactions, revaluations, and consolidations across international subsidiaries to ensure accurate global reporting
  • Perform account reconciliations (bank, credit card, and general ledger)
  • Reconcile transactions across various systems (royalty accounting, BILL, NetSuite)
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Assist with audits, tax preparation, and accounting procedure enhancements
  • Partner with FP&A, HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure proper coding, approvals, and accurate financial data flow across entities
  • Drive accounting process enhancements, system optimizations, and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
  • Coordinate annual financial statement audits and tax filings, prepare supporting schedules, and ensure adherence to internal controls and external reporting requirements

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting or related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with accounting platforms (e.g., NetSuite, BILL, Expensify)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
