This role will focus on core close activities, financial reconciliations, and accurate recording of journal entries across multiple organizational locations. The ideal candidate brings a strong general ledger background, works well in a hybrid environment, and can manage deadlines with accuracy and consistency.
Job Responsibility
Lead monthly close activities by preparing and reviewing entries that support timely and accurate financial reporting
Perform account and bank reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items efficiently
Maintain general ledger accuracy through detailed analysis, proper classification, and consistent documentation
Support consolidation-related accounting tasks across multiple business locations and ensure information is aligned for reporting purposes
Prepare journal entries with appropriate support and verify that transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial data, clarify discrepancies, and improve close-cycle efficiency
Assist with hybrid team coordination while maintaining dependable communication and follow-through on deliverables
Requirements
Proven experience in month-end close and corporate accounting activities
Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation
Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
Ability to support accounting processes across multiple locations or entities
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule with regular onsite presence and remote work on Fridays
