A multi-billion dollar financial services company located near Sayreville, NJ, is looking for a Sr. Accountant. This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office/2 work from home).
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers
Reconcile, review, and manage cash balances
Deliver investor communications via our online investor portal
Book and review journal entries
Prepare and send capital call and distribution notices to investors
Own processes beginning to end and manage every aspect of your assigned Funds’ operations
Assist with the annual audit by providing supporting documents to our external auditors
Compile and analyze data to be presented to senior management
Requirements:
2+ years experience in private equity accounting, with public accounting experience a plus
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and are a self-starter
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and within a team atmosphere
