Sr. Accountant

• Record and review journal entries to keep the general ledger complete, accurate, and aligned with reporting deadlines
• Lead key aspects of the monthly close process, helping ensure timely preparation of internal financial reporting across multiple entities
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, research unusual fluctuations, and follow through on corrective actions when issues are identified
• Monitor intercompany activity, prepare related reconciliations, and help maintain consistency in accounting treatment across the organization
• Partner with teams such as Operations, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable to resolve accounting issues and improve information flow
• Prepare audit support materials, including schedules and documentation, to assist with financial statement and compliance requirements
• Evaluate existing accounting workflows, recommend stronger controls, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
• Contribute to special projects tied to business expansion, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives affecting the accounting function

• Audit experience gained in public accounting or in a role with significant audit-focused responsibilities
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in an industry environment
• Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles in a multi-entity structure
• Experience managing financial data in a fast-paced or changing business environment
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, analyze account activity, and communicate findings clearly
