Job Description

Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals. This team is responsible for providing a differentiated Customer experience for our customers, del Win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leaders, maximizing Customer spend, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption). Delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.

Job Responsibility

  • Customer Advocate – Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies
  • Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft
  • Industry Relevant Trusted Seller – Proactively develops a strong understanding of the customer’s business, industry priorities to drive new business opportunities/ drive growth/net new business
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed
  • Deliver Sales Excellence – Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams across our solution areas to consistently achieve growth in revenue & market share
  • Industry Knowledge – Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions
  • Gains deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations
  • Driving Operations :The ability to effectively manage accounts via strategic decision-making and a focus on operational excellence. This includes orchestrating opportunities and deals, developing sales strategies, managing compliance, showcasing organizational savvy, and assessing and mitigating risks to drive successful business outcomes and maximize customer value realization
  • Managing Sales Pipelines :The ability to be organized, resourceful, and planful while leveraging multiple resources to achieve business goals. This includes the ability to analyze and forecast trends, proactively manage opportunities through the sales process and maintain high standards of operational excellence
  • Maximizing Business Opportunities : The ability to apply business acumen and an understanding of businesses needs and opportunities across market, industry, and competition to effectively manage and prioritize business development opportunities. This includes the ability to effectively analyze market dynamics, recognize customer needs, qualify opportunities, and identify how Microsoft solutions can enable business capabilities that drive growth and innovation, while staying abreast of emerging trends
  • Sales: The ability to effectively sell Microsoft solutions by demonstrating value, influencing others, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements, disrupting conventional thinking, and consultative selling with stakeholders. This includes effectively navigating the sales process and demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to effectively articulate how solutions will drive business impact and value for our customers inclusive of our partners

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 12+ years of sales experience working in an industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 15+ years of sales experience working in an industry, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience
  • 12+ years of experience in managing and building sales pipeline and effectively navigating the sales process
