Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer for a brand-new role focused on optimizing internal portals, cleaning and improving SQL environments, and leading efforts in API integration as part of a broader modernization initiative.

Job Responsibility:

  • Optimize and refactor portal applications, ensuring efficient and well-organized SQL code
  • Lead SQL development efforts, including database optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL), data integrity, and performance tuning
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and executive leadership to gather requirements and ensure alignment on deliverables
  • Develop and integrate APIs, leveraging strong PHP (Laravel framework) capabilities
  • Work in a rapidly evolving setting, responding flexibly to shifting project priorities
  • Contribute to front-end efforts with React, and support UI/UX as needed

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, preferably across both MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on expertise with PHP and the Laravel framework
  • Strong experience with API development and integration
  • Exposure to React for web development and UI/UX best practices (a plus)
  • MS Excel with VBA experience (highly desired)
  • AI/ML knowledge or accounting systems familiarity considered a bonus
