Job Description:

We are seeking a talented SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database solutions that support business applications and analytics. The ideal candidate will be skilled in writing complex SQL queries, building stored procedures, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers
  • Build and maintain data models, schemas, and table structures to support business needs
  • Create and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Optimize queries for performance, scalability, and efficiency
  • Analyze execution plans and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with DBAs to tune databases and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Implement validation rules, constraints, and error-handling mechanisms
  • Work with business units to understand data requirements and improve data quality
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts for dashboards, reports, and analytics tools
  • Support BI developers and data analysts with required datasets and database objects
  • Participate in data warehouse and reporting system enhancements
  • Work closely with software developers, DBAs, business analysts, and QA teams
  • Assist in troubleshooting application issues related to data or SQL code
  • Provide production support for database-related issues and scheduled jobs
  • Maintain clear documentation for database objects, processes, and workflows
  • Adhere to development standards, coding guidelines, and change management policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of professional SQL development experience
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent)
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze, write, and optimize complex SQL queries
